Michigan wins its ninth Big Ten Tournament title and first since 2008. The Wolverines were a perfect 4-0 in the tournament with wins over Indiana, Iowa, Illinois and Maryland.
Michigan is now 49-34 all-time in the Big Ten Tournament.
Michigan and Maryland faced off for the first time in Big Ten Tournament play.
Junior Jacob Cronenworth earned Big Ten Tournament Most Outstanding Player after picking up four saves and hitting .389 with a double and three runs batted in.
Cronenworth was joined on the all-tournament team by Cody Bruder, Jackson Glines and Brett Adcock.
Cronenworth set a tournament record with four saves, breaking former U-M pitcher Michael Powers' record of three from 2008.
Adcock picked up his second win of the tournament and 10th of the season. He pitched 12 innings and allowed two runs with 10 strikeouts.
Michigan will play in its 22nd NCAA Tournament in program history and its first since 2008.
