• Michigan wins the season series, 2-1, over Eastern Michigan after today's win. Michigan won, 18-4, on April 7, while the Eagles defeated the Wolverines, 4-2, on April 15.

• Sophomore Carmen Benedetti singled in the first inning, extending his reached-base streak to 29 games.

• Benedetti also upped his Big Ten lead in doubles (23) and RBI (63). He is now tied for fourth on U-M single-season doubles list and tied for 10th on the U-M single-season RBI list.

• Senior Kevin White tied a career high with four RBI in the win over Eastern Michigan. He also had four RBI against Toledo on May 8, 2013.

• Junior Jacob Cronenworth now has 35 career doubles after his two-bagger.

• Michigan has now scored 56 runs in the first inning this season.

• Michigan's seven pitchers did not allow an earned run while striking out eight. Senior Donnie Eaton had three punchouts in two innings of work.
