• Sophomore Carmen Benedetti extended his Big Ten lead in runs batted in, driving in three runs this afternoon to up his total to 48. The game marked his 10th multi-RBI game and his ninth game with three or more RBI.
• Eight of the nine Wolverines in the starting lineup got base hits, including the top seven in the lineup.
• Both junior Jacob Cronenworth and sophomore Carmen Benedetti reached base, extending their reached base streaks to 21 games, tied with Cody Bruder's streak for the second longest this season. Cronenworth also extended his hitting streak to five games.
• U-M tallied double-digit hits for the 27th time this season and third straight game. The Wolverines are 21-6 when racking up 10 or more hits.
• Senior Kendall Patrick reached base four times this afternoon, despite going 0-for-1 in the box score. He drew three walks and was hit by a pitch in the ninth inning.
