Michigan's pitching staff struck out 38 batters in the three-game series at Minnesota. Sophomore Brett Adcock had 11 punchouts in eight innings, tying a career high.
Freshman Jake Bivens was a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. He set a career high for hits in the win.
Michigan won its fifth straight Big Ten series, winning 2-of-3 games at Minnesota. Michigan has home series remaining in Big Ten play with Iowa (May 1-3) and Northwestern (May 8-10).
Junior Jacob Cronenworth and senior Jackson Glines had two hits apiece in the win. Both Cronenworth and Glines now have 20 multi-hit games this season.
Junior Cody Bruder belted his fourth triple in the eighth inning of today's win. He now leads the team in three-baggers.
