• Michigan and Eastern Michigan played for the second time this season. Michigan defeated Eastern 18-4 on April 7. The two teams play one more time on May 12 in Ann Arbor.

• Freshman Jake Bivens extended his reached-base streak to 21 games after his single in the fourth inning.

• Sophomore Carmen Benedetti, who leads the Big Ten in RBI, drove in a run with a single in the fourth. Benedetti now has 38 RBI.

• Sophomore Keith Lehmann made his first start since March 15 at Kansas in today's game against Eastern Michigan. Lehmann gave up a run with two hits in an inning of work.

• Michigan fell in consecutive games for the first time since March 21-22 at Nebraska.
