Sophomore Brett Adcock picked up his team-leading fourth win of the season, allowing just two hits and no earned run in six innings of work. Adcock has 11 career wins for Michigan.
Freshman Jake Bivens extended his reached-base streak to 19 games after his walk in the sixth inning.
Junior Travis Maezes drove in a season-high four runs in the win over Penn State. His career high is five, set at Nebraska on May 18, 2013.
Penn State now leads the all-time series with Michigan 47-44. Michigan has won five of its last six meetings with the Nittany Lions.
Sophomore Carmen Benedetti extended his Big Ten RBI lead with his single in the seventh inning. Benedetti has 37 RBI on the year.
Senior Jackson Glines now has 15 multi-hit games after going 2-for-5 with two runs scored in today's win.
Michigan did not strike out in today's win at Penn State. It is the first time Michigan has not struck out in a game since April 2, 2011, against Indiana.
