Sophomore Carmen Benedetti had his first career triple today, a two-run shot to the left-center field gap in the sixth inning.
Freshman Jake Bivens notched his first career three-hit game, batting 3-for-5 with a double on the afternoon.
Four Wolverines recorded multiple hits today, including Jacob Cronenworth (his 10th), Cody Bruder (his eighth), Jake Bivens (his sixth) and Kevin White (his fifth).
Junior Cody Bruder has reached base in 17 consecutive games after his RBI single in the third. Bruder also has a nine-game hitting streak.
Kevin White hit his second HR of the season today, tying Kendall Patrick for the team lead.
Three different Wolverines recorded stolen bases today (Jacob Cronenworth, Cody Bruder, and Kevin White). The swipes marked Michigan's first since March 15, when Jacob Cronenworth recorded a steal at Kansas.
Michigan now leads the all-time series against Bowling Green, 42-15.
