Zawacki Shares Big Ten Player of the Week Award

Last week's two wins also gave Zawacki the school record for most wins in a season with five, surpassing Geldres' old record of four. This marks the second time this season Zawacki has registered back-to-back shutouts. Earlier this year he blanked Wisconsin-Green Bay (Sept. 2) and Cleveland State (Sept. 7), preserving two 1-0 Wolverine victories.
Michigan (5-1, 1-1 Big Ten), which is undefeated at home this year, looks to extend its winning streak as the University of Dayton and Western Michigan University come to town this weekend. The Wolverines will play Dayton at 7 p.m. on Friday (Sept. 28) at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor and face Western Michigan 3:30 p.m. on Sunday (Sept 30) at the U-M Soccer Field.
