Koman, who leads the Wolverines with a .386 batting average, stroked three doubles in the game. He started two rallies and finished one with his three two-base hits and he now leads the team in doubles (7) and RBI (10). Lollio, a converted infielder, stroked his first career extra-base hits as a Wolverine with a two-run homer in the fourth inning and a two-run double in the seventh inning. He had four RBI Saturday and all six of his RBI in the past two days.
CSU catcher Brad Jones paced the seven-hit Buccaneer attack with a pair of solo homers in the loss, and he broke open the scoring in the second inning against U-M senior LHP Bryan Cranson (Bronson, Mich./Bronson HS). Cranson (2-1) worked 6.1 innings to earn his second win of the season and sophomore LHP Jeff Trzos (Farmington Hills, Mich./North Farmington HS) retired eight of the nine batters he faced -- three on strikeouts -- to close out the win.
Trailing 1-0, Michigan scored four times in the fourth inning after two outs. Junior 2B Scott Tousa (Dallas, Texas/Lake Highland HS) walked and scored ahead of a line-drive homer of the bat of junior C David Parrish (Yorba Linda, Calif./Esperanza HS). The homer, the 17th of his career, proved to be the game-winning hit for Parrish, the sixth "gamer" of his U-M career.
Senior tri-captain Rob Bobeda (DeWitt, Mich./DeWitt HS) followed the Parrish homer with a walk and he scored as Lollio homered to right-center. CSU cut the margin to 4-2 after six innings, but Michigan put its two-out attack into gear in the seventh, when Koman hit his second double of the game and scored on a single by Parrish. Bobeda dumped a single to left, pushing Parrish to second base, and they both scored on Lollio's double in the right-center gap. Michigan scored its first nine runs of the game with two outs.
Koman doubled in two runs in the eighth and the Wolverines added three runs in the ninth to close out the scoring.
Michigan (5-6) closes out the weekend in Charleston facing Mid-American Conference foe Kent (7-2) Sunday morning (March 12, 11 a.m.) at College Park in downtown Charleston. Sophomore RHP Bobby Korecky (Saline, Mich./Saline HS), 1-1 with a 2.03 ERA, is the scheduled starter.

Senior 3B and tri-captain Kevin Quinn (Midland, Mich./Midland HS) has a career-best five-game hitting streak, while Scott Tousa, who walked three times vs. CSU on Saturday, had his three-game streak snapped.
With 11 hits vs. Charleston Southern, Michigan reached double figures in hits for the fifth time in the last six games. Michigan was limited to three hits in a 2-0 win over Duquesne (March 5) in the last game of the spring trip to Jacksonville, Fla.
Brock Koman collected his fifth multiple-hit game of the season on Saturday (March 11) vs. Charleston Southern, and he leads the team in hits (17), doubles (7), total bases (24), hitting (.386), slugging (.545) and RBI (10).
Among regulars with at least 22 at bats, Brock Koman (17-for-44) leads the Wolverines in hitting with a .386 batting average. He is followed by David Parrish (.282, 11-for-39), Scott Tousa (.273, 9-for-33), Gino Lollio (.273, 6-for-22) and Kevin Quinn (.261, 6-for-23).
