
Wolverines to Close Regular Season Road Slate at Duke Twilight

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's track and field team will close out its regular-season road slate Sunday (May 3) at the Duke Twilight at Morris Williams Stadium. Action is scheduled to begin at approximately 11:30 a.m. with the hammer throw.
Notes
• The Wolverines are ranked No. 2 in the Great Lakes Region and No. 11 in the Big Ten.
• Michigan's 1,500-meter group (Trent McFarland, Brendan Herger, Henry Dixon, Riley Flemington) remains No. 1 in the NCAA for the fifth straight week, while the 800-meter group (Camden Law, John O'Reilly, Miles Brown, McFarland) is ranked No. 4.
• Michigan is coming off a record-setting weekend at the Penn Relays (April 23-25).
• The 4x800-meter relay team of O'Reilly, Herger, Law and McFarland set program and meet records with a time of 7:09.24, just 0.28 seconds shy of the collegiate record. The mark ranks No. 4 all-time in the United States and No. 16 all-time in the world.
• Brown ran a 1:43.84 split on the 800-meter leg of the distance medley relay, the second-fastest split in Penn Relays history. Flemington, O'Reilly, Brown and Dixon finished fifth with a time of 9:33.82.
• Amit Rutman, Jake Machiniak, Krish Gupta and Corey Royster placed 20th in the 4x100-meter relay (40.91), while Will Barhite, Gupta, Malachi Mosley and Nick Butler-Simpson finished 14th in the 4x400-meter relay (3:09.81).
• The Maize and Blue will host the Len Paddock Open on May 8 at the U-M Outdoor Track.
