
Wolverines to Split Between Raleigh Relays, Hurricane Collegiate Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's track and field team will split competition this weekend, sending the distance squad to Raleigh, N.C., for the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State from Thursday to Saturday (March 26–28), while the rest of the team will compete Friday and Saturday (March 27–28) at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational hosted by Miami.
Notes
• Action at NC State will start at 4:05 p.m. on Thursday with the 1,500-meter run.
• Michigan opened its outdoor season at the UCF Black and Gold Invitational on March 20-21.
• Camden Law won the 800-meter run with a personal-best time of 1:46.71, coming in at No. 5 on the program performers list.
• Jake Machiniak ran 20.77 seconds in the 200-meter dash for the No. 3 time on the program performers list.
• In the 100-meter dash, Amit Rutman ran a personal best of 10.60 for a ninth-place finish, while Machiniak ran 10.55 to place eighth.
• Tyler Baker ran a personal best of 15.27 in the 110-meter hurdles.
• In the discus throw, Zane Forist finished second with a mark of 52.86 meters (196 feet, 4 inches).
• Luke Alverson, Jack Bidwell and Henry Dixon are expected to make their outdoor debuts at the Raleigh Relays.
