LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The University of Michigan men's track and field team concluded competition at the Jim Green Invitational on Saturday (April 20) at the Kentucky Outdoor Track and Field Complex.
Adam Wright ran 14.91 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles to finish 10th, while Amit Rutman tied his personal best in the 100-meter dash (11.09). Jacob Koerner finished sixth in the 400-meter dash 48.25.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Rutman, Dubem Amene, Jacob Koerner, and Dante Bassham fourth in a time of 40.86, U-M's second-fastest time in the event of the season.
Zane Forist finished third in the discus throw with a mark of 55.33m (181 feet, 6 inches) and 11th in the shot put with a mark of 16.66m (54-8).
In the triple jump, Tianhao Wei placed fourth with a mark of 15.01m (49-3), but the mark was not wind legal.
The Maize and Blue will head to the City of Brotherly Love for the Penn Relays next Thursday through Saturday (April 25-27), and will host the Len Paddock Invitational next Saturday (April 27).
