
Wolverines to Host McNeese on Kids Club Day at Crisler

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan basketball team will close out its non-conference schedule as the Wolverines host McNeese on Friday (Dec. 29) on Kids Club Day at Crisler Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game will be broadcast digitally on B1G+ with the U-M radio broadcast team of Brian Boesch and Terry Mills.

• Over the last four games, Michigan is 74-for-96 (77.1 percent) from the free throw line. The Wolverines set a season-high 23 makes at Iowa (Dec. 10) and vs. Florida (Dec. 19), with a season-best attempts (29) vs. the Gators. Prior to this stretch, U-M was shooting 65.3 percent in the first eight games.
• Olivier Nkamhoua has 70 consecutive starts when he has been active for Tennessee and Michigan. Additionally, Dug McDaniel has extended his consecutive game streak to 46, not missing a game in two seasons.
• McDaniel has scored in double-figures in all 12 games this year and leads U-M with 19.2 points per game. He is one of the most improved sophomores on the squad, having increased his scoring by 10.5 ppg (8.6 to 19.2).
• For the second time in just over two weeks, McDaniel recorded a career-best with 33 points. He recorded his first 30-plus point game with 33 at Oregon (OT; Dec. 2) and repeated the effort with 33 vs. Florida (2OT; Dec. 19) at the Jumpman Invitational. Hunter Dickinson was the last Wolverine to post two 30-plus games in a season with 31 vs. EMU and at Illinois (2OT).
• Over his last four games, McDaniel is 21-for-25 (84.0 percent) from the free throw line. He leads U-M from the charity stripe, shooting 80.0 percent (44-for-55).
• Nkamhoua has scored in double-figures and grabbed five-plus rebounds in 11-of-12 games this season. Over his last three games, he has recorded a third of his total season rebounds (30; 10.0 rpg). He leads U-M with 91 (7.6 rpg).
• Terrance Williams II has made a three-pointer in seven straight games, including three in each of his last three games. He leads U-M, shooting 41.9 percent from long range.
• Tarris Reed Jr. has scored in double-figures in his last three straight games -- a career-best 19 at Iowa (Dec. 10), 13 against Eastern Michigan (Dec. 16) and 14 vs. Florida (Dec. 19). He has four total double-figure efforts in his career.
• In his last three games, Reed has gone 12-for-17 (70.5 percent) at the free throw line. In the first nine games, he was 9-for-25 (36 percent).
• In the last five games, Nimari Burnett is 15-for-18 (83.3 percent). In his prior seven games, he was 4-for-7 (57.1 percent). In addition to his shooting, Burnett has grabbed five-plus rebounds in seven games, including a career-best nine vs. Memphis (Nov. 22).
