
Game Times, Television Designations Set for 2026-27 Schedule

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Game times and television designations for the University of Michigan men's basketball team's 2026-27 schedule were announced Tuesday (Oct. 6), highlighted by extensive national television exposure for the defending national champion Wolverines.
Michigan is scheduled for seven appearances on Fox, four on CBS and one on NBC, with five additional games slated for Peacock/NBCSN. The Wolverines also will appear on BTN, FS1, TNT/truTV/HBO Max and ESPN networks throughout the season.
The Wolverines open the regular season Monday, Nov. 2, hosting Oakland at 6 p.m. on BTN before heading to Boston for a national championship rematch against UConn on Friday, Nov. 6. The 8 p.m. matchup at TD Garden will air on TNT, truTV and HBO Max.
Other non-conference television highlights include a Saturday night matchup with Villanova in Philadelphia on Fox (Nov. 21), the Players Era Sixteen in Las Vegas on ESPN networks (Nov. 24-28) and Motor City Madness against Louisville at Little Caesars Arena on Peacock/NBCSN (Dec. 5).
Michigan's Big Ten schedule features several marquee weekend national broadcasts, including home games against Purdue (Jan. 8, Fox), Michigan State (Feb. 13, CBS) and Iowa (Feb. 20, CBS), along with road contests at Indiana (Jan. 16, CBS), USC (Jan. 23, NBC), Michigan State (Feb. 26, Fox) and Ohio State (March 7, CBS).
The Wolverines' rivalry matchups will receive prominent national windows, with the two Michigan State games airing on CBS and Fox and both Ohio State meetings slated for Fox and CBS.
Times for Michigan's Jan. 30 home game against Ohio State and Feb. 6 road game at Wisconsin will be finalized no later than one week prior to each contest.
Michigan will play three exhibition contests before the regular season, hosting Eastern Michigan (Oct. 11) and Oregon State (Oct. 16) before facing Houston at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on Oct. 25. All three exhibitions will stream on B1G+.
