Big Ten Swimmer of the Week -- Jack Wilkening earned the Big Ten Swimmer of the Week honor for the first time in his career after his performance at the Michigan First Chance Meet (Feb. 11-12). He earned an NCAA 'B' cut time in the 100-yard backstroke with a personal best time of 47.52 seconds and scored personal best times in the 200 back (1:44.88) and 50 free (20.39). » Big Ten Release
Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- For the first time in his career, Lucas Hodgson was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week after his performance at the Michigan First Chance Meet (Feb. 11-12). He earned an NCAA 'B' cut in the 100-yard freestyle with a personal best time of 44.07 seconds and recorded career-best times in the 50 free (19.80) and 200 free (1:38.48). » Big Ten Release
Eitan Ben-Shitrit (Nov. 23)
Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Eitan Ben-Shitrit earned his second Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor after posting a personal-best times in the 200-yard individual medley (1:44.93) and 200-yard backstroke (1:43.90). Ben-Sitrit's time of 3:47.59 in the 400 IM ranks as the fourth fastest in the Big Ten this season and posted NCAA 'B'-cut times in all three events. » Big Ten Release
Wyatt Davis, Cameron Gammage, Eitan Ben-Shitrit (Nov. 9)
Big Ten Swimmer of the Week -- Wyatt Davis earns his first Swimmer of the Week honor after a dominating performance against Purdue and No. 24 Northwestern. Davis totaled five individual and two relay event wins, posted the Big Ten's fastest time of the season and 11th fastest in the country in the 100-yard backstroke (46.91). He also recorded national top-30 times in both the 100-yard butterfly (47.36) and 200 back (1:45.60). » Big Ten Release
Big Ten Diver of the Week -- Cameron Gammage garnered his second career Big Ten Diver of the Week honor, the first coming on Oct. 13, 2021. Against No. 24 Northwestern on Saturday (Nov. 5), Gammage on both the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard events and collected the win on the 1-meter board against Purdue (Nov. 4). He recorded an NCAA Diving Zones qualifying score of 365.80 on the 1-meter springboard against Northwestern. » Big Ten Release
Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Eitan Ben-Shitrit earned his first Big Ten Freshman of the Week after he recorded a trio of Big Ten top-10 times as Michigan topped Purdue (Nov. 4) and No. 24 Northwestern (Nov. 5). Ben-Shitrit posted the Big Ten's fifth-fastest time of the season in the 200 individual medley (1:48.63) and recorded top-10 times in the 200-yard freestyle (1:37.97) and the 400 individual medley (3:58.26). » Big Ten Release
