ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 15-ranked University of Michigan women's basketball team (7-0, 2-0 Big Ten) kicks off a two-game homestand Thursday (Jan. 7), hosting Nebraska (5-3, 3-2 Big Ten) at Crisler Center. The game is set for 6 p.m. and will be streamed live on Big Ten Network Plus.

Wolverine Notes
• The Wolverines are out to a 7-0 start for the third time in program history, equaling its best start. U-M also started 7-0 during the 1999-2000, 2011-12 and 2015-16 seasons, with the latest season coming under ninth-year head coach Kim Barnes Arico.
• Michigan is off to a 2-0 Big Ten start for the first time since starting 2-0 during the 2016-17 season. U-M has now won its first two conference games four times under head coach Kim Barnes Arico, also starting with two wins in 2012-13, 2013-14 and the aforementioned 2016-17 season.
• Michigan is looking for just its second 3-0 Big Ten start in program history, as the 2012-13 squad started 4-0.
• Michigan has been sharing the ball this season, averaging 19.7 assists per game to rank ninth nationally and third in the Big Ten. Junior Amy Dilk leads the way for Michigan, averaging 4.9 dimes per game, with Leigha Brown (3.7 apg) and Akienreh Johnson (3.3 apg) right behind her.
• Senior Hailey Brown has started in all 99 games in which she has played, with her next start pushing her to 100 for her career. Brown will become the 14th Wolverine in program history to start 100 contests and the first to do it since Hallie Thome (2016-19).
• Brown has scored in double figures five times this season and is averaging 10.3 points per game. For her career, she has hit 120 triples and needs 14 more to move into the top 10 in program history. The Canadian is up to 856 career points, needing 144 more to become Michigan's 30th 1,000-point scorer.
• Juniors Naz Hillmon and Leigha Brown have each scored in double figures in all seven of Michigan's games. Hillmon has scored at least 18 points in all seven contests, ranking second in the Big Ten in scoring (24.6 ppg) and in rebounding (9.9 rpg). Brown is averaging 19.7 points per game (fifth in the Big Ten), while adding 3.6 boards and 3.7 assists per game. The duo is the second-highest scoring pairing in the conference, turning in 44.6 points per game. The two has combined to shoot 65.7 percent (115-for-175) from the field. Michigan is one of three schools (Iowa, Maryland) to have two players in the top 10 of scoring in the Big Ten.
• Nebraska (5-3, 2-2 B1G) has won its last two games, winning, 65-63, at the buzzer against Northwestern (Dec. 31) and knocking off Rutgers, 53-50, on Sunday (Jan. 3). The Huskers are averaging 66.1 points per game on 40.3 percent shooting while allowing 67.6 points per game on 36.2 percent shooting. Nebraska has a pair of double-figure scorers in Sam Haiby (16.1 ppg) and Isabelle Bourne (14.1 ppg), while Kate Cain is second in the Big Ten in blocks per game (2.9). The teams split a pair of games last season, with the Huskers prevailing in Lincoln and Michigan coming away victorious in the Big Ten Tournament.
