A 7-0 Michigan run, capped by a corner three from Macy Brown, pushed the Wolverines out to an 18-9 lead at the 3:39 mark. U-M carried a 22-16 lead into the second quarter.

Olson continued her dominant first half, knocking down threes on consecutive possessions late in the quarter to reach 21 points before the break and give Michigan a 46-31 lead at halftime.
After a brief scoring drought to open the third, Olson sparked the Wolverines with a bucket inside to give U-M a 55-42 lead midway through the quarter. Maryland capitalized on five Michigan turnovers in a nearly three-minute span to trim the deficit to 10, but Swords hit two free throws and buried a three-pointer at the buzzer to send U-M into the fourth quarter ahead 67-52.
Michigan opened the fourth scoreless for more than three minutes, allowing an 8-0 Terrapin run. Holloway and Olson answered with baskets to stretch the lead to 74-60 with 6:17 remaining. The Wolverines controlled the remainder of the game, pushing the margin to 20 in the final minute after VanTimmeren scored inside.
Michigan will begin the postseason in Indianapolis at the Big Ten Tournament. The Wolverines will be either the No. 2 or No. 3 seed and will begin play on Friday (March 6).
