Abby Heiskell (March 15)
Big Ten Specialist of the Week -- Junior Abby Heiskell received her first Big Ten Specialist of the Week honor after helping U-M to its program-record 198.100 team score at Maryland (March 12). She earn a career-best 9.975 on the vault to grab a share of the event title with Sierra Brooks and Naomi Morrison. Heiskell's title was the fifth of her career and her third career vault title. The junior also earned a 9.900 on the balance beam to tie for third overall as Michigan posted a program-record 49.600 beam score. Heiskell also scored on the uneven bars for the Maize and Blue.
Natalie Wojcik (Feb. 16)
Big Ten Gymnast of the Week -- After scoring a perfect 10.0 on the balance beam against Nebraska on Monday (Feb. 15), junior Natalie Wojcik earned her second Big Ten Gymnast of the Week honor of the 2021 season and the 11th of her career. She is just the third Wolverine women's gymnast to earn a perfect score on the balance beam and the first since 1997. Wojcik also took home the all-around title, scoring a 39.650 to mark the third time this season she has won both the beam and all-around titles. » Big Ten Release
Natalie Wojcik (Jan. 25)
Big Ten Gymnast of the Week -- Junior Natalie Wojcik received her 10th career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week honor following her performance against No. 4 Minnesota this past weekend. Wojcik took home the all-around title for the second straight week, scoring a 39.600, while also earning the uneven bars title with a 9.925 and the beam title with a 9.950. Currently, Wojcik leads the nation with an average all-around score of 39.587, while also ranking in the top 30 on all four events: vault (T29), bars (T3), beam (T5), floor (T20). » Big Ten Release
