
Wolverines to Conclude Road Swing at Nebraska

» Michigan will conclude a two-game road swing at Nebraska, the lone meeting this year between the two teams. It is the fourth straight season that Michigan will play in Lincoln.
» U-M is back to leading the conference in rebounding margin at +7.6 following a 48-23 advantage on the glass at Wisconsin (Jan. 16).
» Michigan and Nebraska are ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, in the conference in field-goal percentage. Michigan enters shooting 45.2 percent from the floor, with the Huskers right behind at 44.3.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's basketball team (12-5, 3-3 Big Ten) completes a two-game road swing Sunday (Jan. 19), traveling to Nebraska to take on the Huskers (13-4, 3-3 Big Ten) at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The game is set for 4 p.m. CST and can be seen live on the Big Ten Network.
• Michigan dominated the glass against Wisconsin (Jan. 16), grabbing 48 rebounds to Badgers' 23. Michigan tallied 27 second-chance points in the contest compared to just four for Wisconsin as the Wolverines grabbed 22 offensive boards. U-M had four players with at least six boards in Naz Hillmon (14 total, nine offensive), Kayla Robbins (eight), Akienreh Johnson (career-best 11) and Amy Dilk (six).
• Michigan has been effective on the glass this season, averaging 39.6 boards per game with a +7.6 margin to rank first in the Big Ten. U-M also paces the Big Ten in rebounding defense, allowing just 32.0 rebounds per game to its opponents. Naz Hillmon is third in the conference in rebounding (8.8 rpg), with three other Wolverines grabbing at least five boards per game in Akienreh Johnson (5.4 rpg), Kayla Robbins (5.4 rpg) and Amy Dilk (5.4 rpg). Michigan has outrebounded its opponent 13 times this season, going 11-2 in those contests.
• Sophomore Naz Hillmon has turned in double-doubles in three of the last four games, most recently going for 21 points and 14 rebounds at Wisconsin (Jan. 16). Hillmon also double-dipped at Ohio State (Jan. 9) with 24 points and 15 boards. She was 8-for-8 from the floor in that contest, becoming the fifth Wolverine in program history to be perfect from the field with at least eight attempts. Hillmon also had a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds in Michigan's 20-point win over Michigan State (Jan. 5). On the season, Hillmon has five double-doubles to rank third in the Big Ten. She is averaging 15.9 points per game on 57.5 percent shooting to go with 8.8 boards per contest.
• Michigan already has had four different players record a 20-point game this season. Kayla Robbins, Akienreh Johnson and Amy Dilk have each recorded two 20-point games this season, marking the first of their careers. Naz Hillmon has reached the 20-point mark five times this season and is now up to 13 20-point contests in her career. Junior Hailey Brown also has two 20-point games in her career, recording one in each of the last two seasons.
• Nebraska (13-4, 3-3 B1G) is coming off an 87-69 loss at Maryland on Thursday (Jan. 16), its second straight loss -- both coming on the road. The Huskers are averaging 72.6 points per game on 44.3 percent shooting while allowing 62.6 points per game on 36.3 percent shooting. Nebraska has two players scoring in double figures in Leigha Brown (13.7 ppg) and Sam Haiby (11.4 ppg). The teams split a home-and-home series last season, with each team winning on its home court.
