The Wolverines will take on Nebraska (9-15, 1-8 Big Ten) on Friday (April 19) at 6 p.m. CDT and then will continue their travels to Iowa to take on the Hawkeyes (14-9, 4-5 Big Ten) on Sunday (April 21) at noon CDT.
• Friday's match will be the ninth meeting between U-M and Nebraska, with the Wolverines holding a 7-1 record in the all-time series against the Huskers. Michigan's last match against Nebraska was on April 22, 2018, when the Maize and Blue won, 7-0.
• The Huskers will enter Saturday's matchup with a 9-15 overall record and on a six-match losing streak. Nebraska is led by Toby Boyer, who has a 14-7 record in the No. 1 singles spot, while the duo of Abdoul Ouattara and Matthew Dunn own a 7-5 record at No. 2 doubles. Former U-M associate head coach Sean Maymi is in his first year at the helm of the Huskers program.
• Iowa and Michigan have a long history in men's tennis, with Sunday marking the 63rd meeting between the two programs. Michigan holds a dominating 53-9 advantage in the all-time series with the Hawkeyes. Michigan and Iowa last met on April 21, 2018, when the Wolverines defeated the Hawkeyes, 6-1.
• Iowa enters Sunday's match with a 14-9 overall record, having played three matches in Indiana last weekend. They lost their Saturday match against Purdue, 4-3, and split their Sunday with a loss against Indiana, 0-4, and a win against Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, 6-0, later that evening. The Hawkeyes are led by Will Davies, who has a 25-9 overall record at the Nos. 4 and 5 spots. The doubles pairing of Oliver Okonkwo and Davies holds a 20-9 record as the Nos.1 and 2 teams.
