Big Ten Gymnast and Freshman of the Week -- Freshman Natalie Wojcik has surpassed Minnesota's Lexy Ramler for the most Big Ten Gymnast of the Week honors by a freshman in conference history as she received the honor for the fifth time this season. Wojcik was also named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the eighth time this year after tying for the win on balance beam (9.950) and floor exercise (9.950) against No. 1 Oklahoma last weekend. » Big Ten Release
Olivia Karas, Natalie Wojcik (March 5)
Big Ten Co-Gymnast of the Week -- Senior Olivia Karas was named Co-Big Ten Gymnast of the Week after her career-high 39.650 in the all-around at No. 5 Utah last Saturday (March 2). She tied for the win on bars (9.925) and beam (9.925) while also posting a 9.925 on floor against the Utes. Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Natalie Wojcik was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the seventh time this season and is second in program history for the award, two shy of Olivia Karas (nine, 2016). Wojcik tied for the win on balance beam with a 9.925 last weekend and Utah and matched her career high on floor exercise with a 9.900. Big Ten Gymnast, Freshman of the Week -- Natalie Wojcik was named Big Ten Gymnast and Freshman of the Week after leading Michigan to a season-high 197.750 at the Elevate the Stage meet in Toledo, Ohio (Feb. 23). She had a season-high 39.750 in the all-around that included her first career perfect 10 on vault. She also tied for the win on bars (9.950) and beam (9.925). » Big Ten Release
Olivia Karas (Feb. 20)
AAI Award Nominee -- Senior Olivia Karas has been named one of 25 nominees for the AAI Award. The preliminary ballot will be narrowed down to six finalists later in the season. The AAI Award is given annually to the nation's top senior women's collegiate gymnast.
Natalie Wojcik (Feb. 19)
Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Freshman Natalie Wojcik was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the fifth time this season after another terrific meet at Penn State. She matched her season high in the all-around, scoring a 39.625 for the third time to record her sixth all-around victory of the year. She won or tied for the win on three events to give her 16 event titles this season. Wojcik recorded her first career win on floor exercise with a 9.900. She won beam for the sixth time with a 9.925 and tied teammate Olivia Karas for the win on vault with a 9.950. » Big Ten Release

Big Ten Gymnast of the Week -- Freshman Natalie Wojcik was named Big Ten Gymnast of the Week for the third time this season. She won the all-around for the fifth time in six meets this season with a score of 39.550 Wojcik shared the win on the uneven bars with a 9.950 and scored a 9.925 to finish second on balance beam. Lexi Funk (Feb. 12)
Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week -- Junior Lexi Funk was chosen as the Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week following her first career win on balance beam in Michigan's win over Iowa. She scored a career-high 9.950 to take the title and lead Michigan to a season-high 49.475 on the event. It is Funk's first career Event Specialist of the Week honor. Natalie Wojcik (Jan. 29)
Co-Big Ten Gymnast, Freshman of the Week -- After matching her season best with a 39.625 all-around victory at Maryland, freshman Natalie Wojcik made it a January sweep of Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors and also earned Big Ten Gymnast of the Week for the second time this season, sharing it with Minnesota's Lexy Ramler. Wojcik won three individual events, including vault (9.925), uneven bars (9.875) and balance beam (9.925). She also recorded her first career 9.900 on floor exercise for second place. Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Natalie Wojcik joins Natalie Beilstein and Olivia Karas as Michigan freshmen to have earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors after their first three collegiate meets. Wojcik had another impressive performance in the home opener against Michigan State on Friday (Jan. 18), winning the all-around (39.325), uneven bars (9.900) and balance beam (9.950). Natalie Wojcik (Jan. 15)
Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Natalie Wojcik has started her collegiate career with back-to-back Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors, winning five individual events and two all-arounds in the team's first two meets of the season. She had the top all-around score (39.450) at the Alabama quad meet, and also won vault (9.950) and balance beam (9.875). Big Ten Gymnast, Freshman of the Week -- Natalie Wojcik claimed both honors after her first collegiate meet. The Douglassville, Pennsylvania, native set a school record for the highest all-around score by a U-M gymnast in their debut, winning the all-around at the Cancun Classic (Jan. 4) with a 39.625. She won three of the four individual events, posting a 9.975 on vault, a 9.900 on uneven bars and a 9.925 on balance beam. Emma McLean (Jan. 8)
Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week -- Senior Emma McLean was named Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week for the sixth time in her career. She led off the season with a 9.925 on floor exercise to take home her 11th career floor title. She followed with a 9.875 on vault to take second place on that event, and helped lead Michigan to its third Cancun Classic championship. » Big Ten Release
