» The University of Michigan men's golf team posted an opening 304 with just four players, and is 16th after the first day of the Linger Longer Invitational.
» The Wolverines were without Nick Carlson, who did not complete the round with shoulder soreness. If he chooses, he can play the final two rounds as a non-counter.
» Kyle Mueller fired his 15th sub-par round of the season with a 68 (-4), putting him tied for sixth individually.
» Michigan will play the second round with the individuals at 10:10 a.m. off the 10th tee.
