
Mueller, Pilon Break Par in Second Round of Linger Longer Invitational

» Despite playing without Nick Carlson for a second straight day, the University of Michigan men's golf team improved eight shots from yesterday, posting a 296 tally with just four players at the Linger Longer Invitational. U-M is in 15th place after 36 holes with a 600 team total.
» Kyle Mueller fired his 16th sub-par round of the season with a 70 (-2) and is tied for fourth individually, six shots back of the leader.
» Charlie Pilon's second-round 70 (-2), his third sub-par round of the season, helped him move into the top 50 as he his tied for that exact spot with a 148 total.
» Carlson did not complete the second round with shoulder soreness. If he so chooses, he can play the final round as a non-counter.
» Michigan will play the final round with Charlotte and Mercer off the 10th tee starting at 9:20 a.m.
