» Michigan travels for Florida this weekend for the Gulf Coast Showcase, joining No. 10 Texas, No. 21 Missouri, Quinnipiac, Fordham, Duke, Ball State and Washington at the event.
» U-M has a pair of double-figure scorers in Hallie Thome (21.3 ppg) and Naz Hillmon (17.3 ppg), with Hailey Brown (9.7 ppg) right behind them.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's basketball team (3-0) heads south to the Sunshine State this weekend (Nov. 23-25) for the Gulf Coast Showcase at Hertz Arena. U-M will face No. 21 Missouri in the opening round on Friday (Nov. 23), with No. 10 Texas, Duke, Washington, Fordham, Ball State and Quinnipiac rounding out the field.
• For the first time since the 2016 Paradise Jam, Michigan is participating in a tournament over the Thanksgiving holiday. The Wolverines are playing in the Gulf Coast Showcase for the first time, joining No. 10 Texas, No. 21 Missouri, Duke, Washington, Quinnipiac, Ball State and Florida at the event. Michigan will face Missouri in the first round to kick things off on Friday (Nov. 23) at 7:30 p.m. It is Michigan's first trip to the Sunshine State since playing at Florida Gulf Coast in the semifinals of the 2016 WNIT.
• Missouri comes in at No. 21 in this week's Associated Press poll, marking Michigan's first ranked opponent of the season. U-M had a pair of wins over ranked opponents last season, defeating No. 8 Ohio State and No. 13 Maryland. Texas is also ranked at the tournament, grabbing the No. 10 spot by the AP.
• For the third time under seventh-year head coach Kim Barnes Arico, the Wolverines are off to a 3-0 start after wins over Mount St. Mary's, Western Michigan and Detroit Mercy. U-M also started 3-0 in 2015-16 and 2016-17. Through three games, U-M is shooting 51.5 percent from the floor, good for 11th nationally and second in the Big Ten. The Wolverines are tops in the country in rebounding margin at 25.3.
• No. 21 Missouri (3-1) enters the tournament after a 59-36 win over Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on Monday (Nov. 19). The Tigers have a pair of double-figure scorers in Sophie Cunningham (16.3 ppg, 7.5 rpg) and Amber Smith (13.5 ppg, 7.5 ppg). Mizzou is averaging 65.5 points per game on 41.2 percent shooting, while allowing 54.2 points per game on 32.4 percent shooting. U-M is 1-0 all-time against Missouri.
• After the first game against Missouri, Michigan will face either No. 10 Texas or Quinnipiac on Saturday (Nov. 24). Game time will be either at 1:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m., depending on Friday's result. Michigan's final opponent will be either Ball State, Fordham, Duke or Washington.
• Senior Nicole Munger has eight triples on the season, moving her career total to 125. She is five away from breaking into the top 10 in Michigan history, with the No. 10 spot being held by Madison Ristovski with 130 three-pointers. Munger's .405 career percentage from behind the arc puts her first on the career list as one of two players to shoot at least 40 percent from deep (Jennifer Keifer, .400).
