
Jahnke Wraps Up College Career at Zone Diving Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Fifth-year senior Thomas Jahnke of the No. 5-ranked University of Michigan men's swimming and diving team closed out his career at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships on Friday (March 13) inside the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion, competing on the three-meter springboard.
Officially, Jahnke finished 19th (299.85), just one spot shy of making the top 18 and qualifying for the final. He did qualify for yesterday's (Thursday, March 12) final on one-meter, finishing 17th (598.40). He will not be in the platform competition tomorrow (Saturday, March 14).
Michigan will send 12 swimmers to the NCAA Championships, slated to be held March 26-28 at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center in Iowa City, Iowa, the site of its Big Ten Championship win just two weeks ago. Preliminaries will begin at 11 a.m. CDT each day, with finals commencing at 7 p.m. CDT.
