Michigan Head Coach Bev Plocki
On the meet and some of Michigan's injuries ... "We took the bad and made the best of it. Not only were we without Nellie Kippley tonight, but Tatjana (Thuener-Rego) only competed two events for us. Once again our kids stepped in and did the best they could, which has been nothing less than amazing. Kids like Jackie (Jaclyn Kramer) come in and have the meets of their lives. She was quivering after her beam routine, she was so happy. I can't remember being so proud of a team in my entire coaching career. Tatjana is day-to-day right now. She's getting treatment and we'll see how she is next week. She's one of the toughest kids on the team, so when she comes to me and says she doesn't feel well we know to rest her."
U-M Freshman Jaclyn Kramer
On setting career highs on two events and winning her first collegiate individual event title ... "Tonight was amazing. It was awesome. I didn't expect to compete so soon and on this stage. I'm very confident out there now and it feels so great to go out there and help the team."
