Returning University of Michigan Students
Returning U-M students who purchased a football student ticket or were on the football waitlist for the 2025-26 academic year will have the opportunity to purchase football tickets from June 8 through June 12. If demand exceeds supply for students who purchase during this time, a four-game ticket pack will be implemented based on student priority points from the 2025 season.
Pending availability, returning U-M students who did not purchase football student tickets and were not on the football waitlist for the 2025-26 academic year will have the opportunity to purchase football student tickets between June 16 and June 19. The second on-sale period is subject to availability based on demand from the first on-sale period. Once inventory is depleted, returning students can join the waitlist to be considered for tickets after the incoming student sale in July. If inventory is unavailable on June 16, the waitlist will automatically be open to join.
Incoming University of Michigan Students
Newly enrolled students (for the 2026-27 academic year) will have the opportunity to purchase football student tickets between June 22 and June 26. If demand exceeds supply for the students who purchase during this time, a four-game ticket pack will be implemented based on a random lottery.
Pricing
The student ticket price for football will remain unchanged at $29 per game. With eight home games during the 2026 season, the total is $232 ($120 need-based). There is a $15 processing fee added to the entire order.

The Athletic Department has worked with the Office of Financial Aid to provide a more inclusive option for students with needs. Returning Students will have between April 21 and May 1 to request that Michigan Athletics check their eligibility. If confirmed, returning students will be able to purchase a reduced-rate student ticket for Football, Men’s Basketball, and Ice Hockey during the returning student on-sale period in June. Incoming students will purchase their tickets at full price and will apply for the ticket discount when they purchase. If approved, Michigan Athletics will issue a refund for the difference in price. The deadline to apply for need-based pricing is August 10.

To be eligible to order and maintain a Michigan football season ticket, a student must intend to register for enough credit hours at the University of Michigan to become at least a half-time student and maintain such registration for the entire Fall 2026 term. A half-time student is an undergraduate student registered for at least 6 credit hours or a graduate student registered for at least 4 credit hours. Students taking courses for auditing purposes only (i.e. non-credit earning) are not eligible for student football season tickets.
The Ticket Office will check your registration status with the Registrar's Office. If you are not properly registered prior to the beginning of the season, your season ticket will be held until you provide us with proof of such registration. If you are not properly registered after the season begins, the Ticket Office will deactivate the bar code on your season tickets for the remaining games and no refund will be issued.

Student tickets cannot be sold on the secondary market.

Reserved seat locations will be assigned based on student priority points from the prior season. Six (6) points/game are the most points that can be earned. Student football season ticket holders earn points by:
» Arriving 30 or more minutes prior to kickoff -- 3 points
» Attending the game -- 3 pointsStudents will be seated by highest point totals in the lowest rows (30 points) and proceed to the upper rows. Incoming freshmen/new students will have not yet earned points and will be seated in the upper rows, but can quickly earn great seats in the lower rows after one season.
Students will be seated randomly within their priority point status (e.g. if 700 students have 30 points, they will be randomly seated within that priority).
Any student who transfer their tickets will receive 3 points maximum. Groups can be formed with a minimum of 2 students and a maximum of 100 students. These groups will be assigned seating based on the average priority point total of all group members. In the past, seating was based on the lowest student in the group.
There will be no priority point carry-over season to season, meaning all point totals will reset to zero at the beginning of each new season. The following season's location will be determined by these points.
Please note that incoming students cannot be seated with returning students.
Students can earn up to 42 points for the 2026 season, which is the equivalent to arriving to 7 games at 30 or more minutes prior to kickoff. In the case of students being unable to attend a game to due extenuating circumstances (e.g. holiday, university student breaks, weather, etc.) we will not count their "worst" game in their overall priority points.
The student section will begin at the aisle break in section 25 and will extend through section 34, if needed.

Student football season tickets will again be delivered digitally for the 2026 Michigan Football season. Your entire season ticket (8 games) or ticket pack (4 games) will be sent to you as an ALL-IN-1 pass prior to the first home game taking place on Sept. 5. We ask that each student season ticket holder download their ALL-IN-1 pass to their phone's wallet to ensure ease of use on gameday. It is extremely important to download your tickets in advance of the game, as there is limited cellular coverage in the vicinity of Michigan Athletic events. On gameday, you may go straight to the student entrance and present your student ticket from your phone's wallet.
