» Paced by two sub-par individual rounds, Michigan posted a 287 (-1) in the opening round of the Michael A. Marino Classic to sit fourth at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club. It was U-M's 14th sub-par team score of the season.
» With weather threatening later rounds, the field agreed to play at least nine holes of the second round Sunday afternoon to get ahead of any potential storms.
» Sophomore RJ Arone led the Wolverines in the first round with a 67 (-5), carding six birdies against one bogey to move into second place in the 90-player field.
» Sophomore Dean Muratore opened with a 71 (-1) and is tied for 11th, while sophomore Nilay Naik posted an even-par 72 and sits tied for 23rd.
