
Michigan Tabbed as Top 16 Seed, Will Host NCAA Tourney Games

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The No. 9-ranked University of Michigan women's basketball team (25-6) has earned a top 16 seed and will host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament next weekend (March 20-23) at Crisler Center as the host schools were announced today (Saturday, March 14) by the NCAA. The 16 host schools were announced in alphabetical order the day before the bracket reveal for the first time.
It is the second time that Michigan will serve as a host after U-M hosted the first and second rounds in 2022 en route to an Elite Eight appearance. Michigan has been in the top 10 for the last 16 weeks and went 14-1 this season at Crisler Center.
The full bracket will be announced Sunday evening (March 15) on ESPN at 8 p.m.
Single-game tickets will go on sale on Monday morning (March 16) at 9 a.m. All-session passes (two first-round games and one second-round game) are currently available for $35.
