• Michigan is 11-16-5 against Minnesota in the all-time series dating back to 1994. Head coach Jennifer Klein is 3-2 against the Gophers in her time leading the Wolverines, winning two of the three matchups in Ann Arbor.
• Last time out, Michigan stole three points at Nebraska in a 2-1 win. The Wolverines won their first game of the season, despite trailing at halftime, and also earned the victory despite being outshot by the Cornhuskers 24-8.
• Kali Burrell logged U-M's fifth three-plus point game of the season with a goal and an assist against Nebraska. It was her second career three-point match and her first of 2025.
• Senior goalkeeper Sophie Homan continued her stellar senior season with a new career-high nine saves on Thursday (Sept. 25). She has faced the second-most shots in the Big Ten this season (135), with the second-highest total save count among conference goalkeepers (42).
• Forwards Elle Ervin and Gabrielle Prych combine to make the sixth-highest goal-scoring duo in the Big Ten this season. They account for nine of Michigan's 13 goals.
• Ervin started the season hot, with goals in each of the first four games -- the longest streak of her career. The sophomore leads the team with new personal bests in shots (27) and shots on target (13).
• Prych has already tied her career high with five goals in 2025, with seven games remaining on the regular-season schedule.
• Minnesota goalkeeper Sarah Martin is second in the Big Ten with 47 saves so far this season. Offensively, Paige Kalal has produced a team-high 10 points for the Gophers, scoring the lone point in a 2-1 loss to Michigan State on Thursday.
