Notes
• Michigan and USC have met six times before, with the Trojans taking all six victories. Four of the six losses have been one-goal decisions, with the Wolverines having yet to concede more than two goals in a game.
• Senior goalkeeper Sophie Homan has logged clean sheets in back-to-back games and ranks third in the Big Ten with 30 saves. She is also top 10 in the conference with a .750 save percentage among goalies playing at least 600 minutes this year.
• Forwards Elle Ervin and Gabrielle Prych combine to be the seventh-highest scoring duo in the Big Ten this season. They account for 18 points as a pair and have scored eight of Michigan's 10 goals so far in 2025.
• Ervin started the season hot, with goals in each of the first four games, and is tied for the sixth-most points in the Big Ten this season (10). The sophomore also ranks sixth in the conference with four goals, leading the Wolverines with new career highs in shots (25) and shots on target (12).
• Adi Walick has assisted on half the Wolverines' goals this year. Her five assists and 0.63 assists per match are both second in the Big Ten, ranking 14th and 26th in NCAA Division I, respectively.
• Gabrielle Prych is on pace for a career year, having already logged four goals through eight contests in 2025. Her previous-best scoring mark was five goals set back in 2023 when she played more than 1,000 minutes in 16 games.
• USC comes to Ann Arbor on a three-game winless streak with a tie against Portland, a loss to No. 1 Stanford, and a loss to Washington in last week's Big Ten opener.
• Michigan continues its homestand on Sunday (Sept. 21) at U-M Soccer Stadium, hosting No. 4 UCLA at 1 p.m.
