ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team saw a pair of top-10 marks set on Saturday (Feb. 15) to close out the weekend at the Tiger Paw Invitational at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Complex and the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center.

Freshman Coraline Haggarty finished 47th in the 800-meter run with a personal-best time of 2:09.85, while Alyna Lewis finished 53rd (2:10.84)
Samantha Hastie placed 41st in the mile run with a time of 4:40.97, just 0.52 seconds from her personal best.
Rylee Tolson led the 3,000-meter squad with a time of 9:35.68 to place 112th, with Emily Tomes finishing 147th (9:44.32), Leah Hill placing 149th (9:44.94), and Gabbie Michael placing 200th (9:59.96). Tomes, Hill and Michael logged personal bests.
The 5,000-meter run was the final event of the day, with Mary Caroline Heinen's personal-best time of 15:57.37, earning a 25th-place finish and the No. 4 time on the program performers list. Natalie VanOtteren finished 114th (17:04.31) while Katelyn Watkins finished 140th (17:25.05).

In the 200-meter Orange section, Amare Harlan finished 16th with a personal-best time of 23.55 seconds to come in No. 4 on the program performers list. In the Purple section, Payton Smith also finished 16th (23.90), Trinity Henderson finished 31st (24.36) and Sidney Green finished 38th (24.64). Henderson's time was a season best.
Trinity Franklin placed seventh in the open shot put section with a mark of 14.79 meters (48 feet, 6.25 inches) and Abigail Russell placed ninth (14.75m/48-4.75). In the invite section, Elizabeth Tapper finished second (17.53m/57-6.25).
The Maize and Blue will close out its regular-season indoor slate next weekend, hosting the Silverston Invitational on Friday (Feb. 21) and sending a distance medley relay team to the Alex Wilson Invitational hosted by Notre Dame on Saturday (Feb. 22).
