Men's Basketball
With Franz Wagner's 18 points and Moritz Wagner's eight points and five rebounds, Germany earned its first-ever trip to the Olympic medal round with a 76-63 win over Greece and Giannis Antetokounmpo in the quarterfinals. » Full update

The U.S. women's volleyball team swept Poland in three sets (25-22, 25-14, 25-20) in the quarterfinals, outscoring them 75-56 over the course of the match.
