
Brady Named CSC First Team Academic All-American

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan men's cross country and track and field distance runner Tom Brady was named to the College Sports Communicators 2022-23 Academic All-America first team, the organization announced Thursday (June 29).
As a graduate student pursuing his Master's of Science in Engineering, Brady closed the year with a cumulative 3.94 grade-point average after earning a perfect 4.0 GPA during the second semester.
On the track, Brady had a strong 2022-2023 season which included his winning the 10,000 meters at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships -- his first individual conference title. He also was a member of both indoor and outdoor Big Ten squads and earned first team all-conference honors. Brady also set the indoor 5,000-meter school record, breaking the previous school record by four seconds. During the 2022 cross country season, Brady earned All-Great Lakes Region, All-Big Ten first-team honors and USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.
