
Five Wolverines Receive Academic All-District Honors

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Tom Brady, Aiden Felty, Arjun Jha, Henry Johnson, and Oli Raimond of the University of Michigan men's track and field teams and cross country teams were named to the College Sports Communicators Men's Track and Field/Cross Country Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Wednesday (May 31).
Brady, who is working toward a Master of Business Administration, won his first individual conference title in the 10,000 meters at the 2023 Big Ten Outdoor Championships to earn All-Big Ten honors, and set a program record in the 5,000 meters. As a member of the U-M men's cross country team, Brady received All-Great Lakes Region honors and was named first team All-Big Ten.
Jha is a 2023 U-M Athletic Academic Achievement award honoreee for his near-perfect grade-point average while pursuing a Master of Physiology. During the indoor season, he earned second team All-America honors during the indoor season as part of the school-record setting distance medley relay team. In cross country, Jha earned All-Great Lakes Region and second team All-Big Ten honors.
Raimond, a computer science engineering major, earned first team All-Big Ten honors (indoor 2023).
Johnson is studying applied exercise science and received second-team All-American honors (indoor 2023).
Felty studied anthropology with a minor in environment and made both outdoor and indoor Big Ten teams in the 2022-2023 season.
