
U-M Releases 2024 Schedule; Wolverines to Play Host to B1G Outdoor Championships

• U-M 2024 Men's Track and Field Schedule
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan director of track and field and cross country Kevin Sullivan announced the U-M track and field team's 2024 indoor and outdoor schedule, which features five regular-season meets and hosting the Big Ten Outdoor Championships.
The Wolverines will open the indoor portion of their slate at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener hosted by Boston University on Dec. 2 before returning home for three straight meets in the new year with the Wolverine Invitational (Jan. 13), Simmons-Harvey Invitational (Jan. 20), and the Michigan Invitational (Jan. 26-27).
The team will head to South Bend, Ind., for the Meyo Invitational on Feb. 2-3, hosted by Notre Dame. U-M hits Chicago on Feb. 9-10 for the Windy City Invitational hosted by Wisconsin and will return home for the Silverston Invitational on Feb. 16 to wrap up its indoor home slate.
The Alex Wilson Invitational (Feb. 17) hosted by Notre Dame will close out the indoor regular season for the Wolverines, with the Big Ten Championships taking place on at the SPIRE Institute on Feb. 23-24 before the NCAA Championships on March 8-9. The event will be hosted by Boston College and UMass Lowell at the TRACK at new balance at Boston Landing in Brighton, Mass.
Michigan will open its outdoor schedule March 15-16 at the Bulls Invitational in Tampa, Fla., traveling to 10 meets before returning home for its lone regular-season outdoor meet, the Len Paddock Invitational, on April 27. The Maize and Blue will close out the regular season in Bloomington, Ind., at the Billy Hayes Invitational on May 3-4.
The Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Championships will take place at the U-M Track and Field Stadium from May 10-12.
The postseason will continue in Lexington, Ky., on May 22-25 for the NCAA East Preliminary Round and the NCAA Championships on June 5-8 in Eugene, Ore.
U-M returns Big Ten champion Dubem Amene (400m indoor) as well as second team All-All American Nick Foster (mile).
Tickets for the 2024 Big Ten Outdoor Championships will go on sale in March.
