• Michigan boasts the top-ranked power play in the country, with 21 goals on 59 chances (35.6 percent). The Wolverines scored six power-play goals against Lindenwood in nine opportunities. It marked the first six-spot since Dec. 31, 1996 when the team went 6-for-10 against Ferris State. • The Wolverines are scoring an average of 4.57 goals per game, ranking second nationally in scoring offense, behind Denver's 5.25. The Maize and Blue has 64 goals in 14 games. The record for most goals in a season is from 1976-77 when the team tallied 260.
• Graduate transfer Jake Barczewski eclipsed the 3,000 career-save mark last weekend, sitting at 3,054 saves -- 335 coming this season with Michigan. He is one win away from 50 in his career with a 49-47-10 record.
• Another category in which Michigan ranks high is faceoff win percentage. The Wolverines collectively are second in the NCAA at 55.4 percent, just behind Quinnipiac's 55.7 percent. T.J. Hughes is at 60.4 percent, winning 139 draws, while Frank Nazar III has 143 wins and is at 58.4 percent.
• Seamus Casey leads the nation's defensemen in scoring with 20 points in 14 games, scoring four goals and collecting 16 assists. He is nine points away from matching his 2021-22 total of 29 points.
• Marshall Warren and Jacob Truscott both rank in the top 10 in blocked shots, with 21 apiece. Warren leads the team in all-time blocks with 132 in his four-plus seasons of collegiate hockey.
• With Casey leading the team in scoring, Rutger McGroarty and Hughes follow with 18 points apiece. Gavin Brindley has 17 points while Nazar and Dylan Duke have 16 points apiece. Garrett Schifsky has 15 points and is fourth in the nation in rookie scoring.
• Michigan has been outscored 8-2 in the third period of its last six games, compared to the first eight games of the season when the Wolverines were outscoring opponents 15-12 over the final 20 minutes.
