ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- In conjunction with the Big Ten, the University of Michigan ice hockey team unveiled its 2026-27 conference schedule.
Opponents, weekends and locations have been determined. Because game dates are still being finalized around basketball scheduling, conference series will be listed as a date range (Thursday through Sunday). Exact game dates, start times and television information will be announced at a later date.
The reigning Big Ten Tournament champion opens the conference slate at Ohio State (Oct. 29-Nov. 1), before hosting Penn State (Nov. 12-15). A home-and-home series with Michigan State follows the next week (Nov. 19-22), with the first game at Yost Ice Arena and the second game at Munn. The final series of the 2026 calendar year will be at home against national semifinalist Wisconsin (Dec. 3-6).
The Wolverines begin 2027 with two straight weeks on the road, first at Minnesota (Jan. 7-10), then at Notre Dame (Jan. 14-17). Michigan hosts Ohio State the following week (Jan. 21-24). The second home-and-home series with Michigan State is set for the first week of February (Feb. 4-7), with the first game at Munn and the location for the second game -- with Michigan as the host -- to be announced.
Notre Dame comes to Yost (Feb. 11-14) before Michigan heads to Madison (Feb. 18-21). The final regular-season games at Yost will be against Minnesota (Feb. 25-28) before ending the regular-season slate at Penn State on March 4-5.
