Michigan to Host Lindenwood in Non-Conference Series at Yost

• Oct. 27 -- Halloween at Hockey - Come celebrate Halloween with the Michigan ice hockey team. Trick-or-treating stations will be available for kids around the concourse prior to the game.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 6-ranked University of Michigan hockey team (3-2-1) faces Lindenwood (1-3-2) in a two-game non-conference series on Friday and Saturday (Oct. 27-28) at Yost Ice Arena. Puck drop for both games is set for 7 p.m. and both will be streamed live on B1G+.

• Michigan moves back into sixth place in the USCHO poll after going 1-0-1 against Ohio State last weekend. The Wolverines took four of six available points with a 7-1 victory on Friday (Oct. 20) before a 2-2 draw Saturday (Oct. 21) that saw OSU win the shootout.
• Lindenwood comes to Ann Arbor with a 1-3-2 record. Last weekend, the Lions went 0-1-1 at St. Thomas one week after going 0-1-1 against Ohio State. The team's lone win of the year came in a series split at Air Force.
• Michigan is 2-0 against Lindenwood, which is in its second season as a Division I program. The Wolverines earned 7-4 and 3-1 wins last October. Sixteen players had at least one point in the series, led by Adam Fantilli's one goal and three assists.
• Graduate-transfer goalie Jake Barczewski was named the Big Ten Second Star of the Week on Tuesday (Oct. 24). He made 67 saves in his first Big Ten series which included his 100th career start. He finished with a .957 save percentage and allowed just three goals for a 1.44 goals-against average.
• Rutger McGroarty leads the nation in points with 11 in six games. He has scored three goals and eight assists, but had a 13-game point streak come to an end in the Ohio State finale. McGroarty leads the Big Ten in points per game (1.83) and in assists per game (1.33).
• Leading the nation's defensemen in scoring is Seamus Casey, who is on an 11-game point-scoring streak and has nine points in six games this season, averaging 1.50 per game.
• T.J. Hughes is the league leader in power-play goals with three to his credit which ties him for third nationally. He is tied for fourth on the team in scoring with seven points and is 60.6 percent from the faceoff circle (60-39).
• Michigan's sophomore class has had the hot sticks owning 83 percent of the U-M's production coming from the class. They have scored 18 goals and 29 assists for 57 of the team's 69 points.
