
Michigan to Wrap Up Regular Season at EMU Fall Classic

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 19-ranked University of Michigan men's cross country team will compete in its final meet of the regular season at the EMU Fall Classic on Friday (Oct. 20) at 4 p.m. at the Hudson Mills Metropark in Dexter, Mich.
Notes
• The Wolverines will race at Hudson Mills Metropark for the second time this season after opening the 2023 campaign with the Michigan Open on Sept. 1.
• Seven Michigan men, four in uniform and three competing unattached, will take part in Friday's meet.
• Kyler McNatt will race for the third straight meet after running in the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invite and Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational. Last week in Madison, Wis., McNatt placed 101st in the B race with a 6K time of 26:41.7.
• James Gedris is set to run for the third time in 2023. Gedris most recently competed in the Virginia Invitational on Sept. 23, clocking a time of 25.55.4 on the 6K course.
• Myles Liss-Riordan will look to build on his solid performance at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invite. He logged a time of 25:05 to help the Maize and Blue to a fifth-place finish.
• Henry Johnson has competed in three of the four meets this season, including an 18th-place finish the last time he ran at Hudson Mills Metropark at the Michigan Open.
• Following the EMU Fall Classic, Michigan will head back to Madison, Wis., for the Big Ten Cross Country Championships on Oct. 27.
