DEXTER, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's cross country team concluded its regular season at the EMU Fall Classic at Hudson Mills Metropark on Friday afternoon (Oct. 20).
Six Wolverines, four in uniform and two running unattached, traversed the muddy 5k course with all six Michigan men finishing inside the top-20 overall.
Henry Johnson led the way for the Maize and Blue, finishing fourth with a time of 15:46.7. The next Wolverine to cross the line was Kyler McNatt, who clocked a 16:03.9 in his first official 5k at Michigan.
James Gedris logged a time of 16:16.0 and Myles Liss-Riordan posted a 16:32.8 on Friday.
The freshman tandem of Akili Parekh and Trent McFarland competed unattached. Parekh finished seventh overall with a time of 15:56.7 and McFarland registered a mark of 16:09.1 -- good for eighth place.
Next up, Michigan will make the trip to Madison, Wis., to take on the best in the conference at the Big Ten Cross Country Championships on Oct. 27.
