The No. 13-ranked University of Michigan men's tennis team (8-1) will compete in the 16-team ITA National Team Indoor Championship this Friday through Monday (Feb. 14-17) at Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. Michigan first will face off with No. 7 Texas A&M in the opening round on Friday (Feb. 14) at 9 a.m. CST and then will take on either No. 4 Texas or No. 16 UCLA in a second match at 9 a.m. CST on Saturday (Feb. 15). The Wolverines are guaranteed three matches and would play a fourth if they advance to the championship match on Monday (Feb. 17).

• This weekends will mark Michigan's first appearance in the ITA National Team Indoor Championship since 2008-09
• In the bracket this weekend are No. 1 USC, No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Florida, No. 4 Texas, No. 5 North Carolina, No. 6 Wake Forest, No. 7 Texas A&M, No. 8 Stanford, No. 9 Columbia, No. 10 North Carolina State, No. 11 TCU, No. 12 Baylor, No. 14 South Carolina, No. 16 UCLA and unranked host Wisconsin.
• Michigan reached the championship weekend after winning the Illinois ITA Kick-Off defeating Texas Tech and Ole Miss by identical 4-3 scores.
• The Wolverines already have faced three opponents appearing in the championship (NC State, TCU and Columbia) and are 2-1 against those teams.
• Michigan has defeated two top-10 opponents this season taking down then-ranked No. 8 TCU, 4-2, on Feb. 1 -- the program's first win over a top-10 team since 2011 -- and then a week later defeated No. 9 Columbia, 4-3
• The Wolverines are 8-1 on the season and on an eight-match win streak. After falling in the season opener to then-ranked No. 23 NC State, Michigan has won all eight of its matches.
• Michigan has two ranked doubles pairs in No. 4 Andrew Fenty and Mattias Siimar and No. 42 Connor Johnston and Ondrej Styler.
• No. 4 Fenty/Siimar are 8-0 this spring and are 20-2 overall this year, while riding a 12-match win streak. No. 42 Styler/Johnston are 8-1 this spring and 11-2 overall
• The Wolverines have three ranked singles players: No. 43 Styler, No. 48 Fenty and No. 96 Patrick Maloney.
