TULSA, Okla. -- Freshman Ondrej Styler of the University of Michigan men's tennis team won his opening-round match before falling in the second round of qualifying singles at the ITA All-American Championships on Tuesday (Oct. 8) at Tulsa's Case Tennis Center.
On Monday (Oct. 7), Styler knocked off No. 80 Sangeet Sridhar of Stanford, 6-4, 7-5. His tournament run came to an end in the second round with a three-set loss to Makey Rakotomalala of Arizona State (3-6, 6-3, 6-3).
Next up for the Wolverines, junior Mattias Siimar, junior Nick Beaty, and sophomore Andrew Fenty will take part in the Michigan State Invitational Friday through Sunday (Oct. 11-13) in East Lansing.
