Team Notes
• Michigan stayed at No. 11 in the latest CSCAA/TYR Top 25 Coaches Poll, released Oct. 23. [ Rankings ]
• Since the start of the 2015-16 season, U-M is 33-2 in dual meets. Entering this Friday's meet, the Wolverines have won their last 22 dual meets and have won 30 consecutive meets against Big Ten competition.
• The Wolverines last competed on Oct. 18 in a Maize and Blue Intrasquad, a make-up meet after Tennessee and Virginia each pulled out of a schedule two-day double dual meet. The men's and women's teams posted 52 times that would've ranked in the top 20 of the NCAA, including 29 in the top five. Though the times are recognized as official by USA Swimming, they do not count toward NCAA Championships qualification. [ Recap ]
• Through one competition, three divers already have punched their tickets to the NCAA Zone Diving Championships in March. Sophomore Allie Klein and junior Camryn McPherson have qualifying marks on both one-meter and three-meter, while junior Nikki Canale met the standard on one-meter only. This season, U-M has eight divers on the roster, its largest contingent in years.
Opponent Preview

In the pool, Iowa is led by Hannah Burvill (team-best times in the sprint freestyle and backstroke events), Emilia Sansome (distance freestyle) and Kelsey Drake (butterfly, individual medley).
Series: U-M leads, 8-1, in the all-time series against Iowa. Michigan won the meeting last season, 255-97.
