
Wolverines Place 28 on CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

RICHMOND, Va. -- The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America named 28 Michigan men's and women's swimmers and divers as Scholar All-Americans for the 2025-26 season on Thursday (July 2). Additionally, both programs received the CSCAA Scholar All-America team awards.
On the women's team, Stephanie Balduccini, Rebecca Diaconescu, Lexi Greenhawt, Brady Kendall, Christey Liang and Letitia Sim each earned first-team honors. Malia Amuan, Anna Boemer, Lila Higgo, Anna Hulan, Aoi Kondo, Ella Jo Piersma, Madison Smith, Montse Spielmann and Natalie Walklett were tabbed second team.
On the men's side, Eitan Ben-Shitrit, Ole Eidam, Colin Geer, Luka Mladenovic, Tyler Ray and Antoine Sauve garnered first-team honors. Jaeddan Gamilla, Ryan Hume, Ozan Kalafat, William Savarese, Tyler Tannenberger, Alex Thiesing and Logan Zucker were named to the second team.
To qualify for first-team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-team selections must have also earned a 3.50 GPA or higher and achieved a CSCAA Championship qualifying time or participated at a diving zone qualification meet.
Both the men and women earned CSCAA Scholar All-America honors as a team, earning a cumulative 3.52 and 3.53 GPA, respectively. To qualify, teams had to earn a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 during the spring semester.
