
Kendall, Sim Named to CSC Academic All-America First Team

AUSTIN, Texas -- University of Michigan women's swimming and diving standouts Brady Kendall and Letitia Sim were named first team Academic All-Americans by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday (April 28).
Kendall carried a perfect 4.00 GPA while pursuing a degree in pharmacy. A three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, she also earned CSC Academic All-District recognition in 2024 and 2026. In the pool, Kendall capped her career with a Big Ten title in the 50-yard freestyle, setting a new conference record. She also contributed to three relay victories at the Big Ten Championships and earned five All-America honors at the NCAA Championships.
Sim also maintained a 4.00 GPA while majoring in applied exercise science. She was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and earned CSC Academic All-District honors in 2026. Sim closed her Michigan career in dominant fashion, winning Big Ten titles in both the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke. She was also part of championship-winning 200- and 400-yard medley relay teams and collected three All-America honors at the NCAA Championships.
Academic All-America teams are selected by College Sports Communicators and recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in academics and athletics. Student-athletes who meet the criteria for nomination must be in at least their second year at their institution with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 and have competed in at least five meets. Â
