• Michigan went to five sets for the second straight match of 2014. The Wolverines win over Duke is their first win in five sets this season.

• Michigan now has a 3-1 series advantage over Duke. It is the second straight five-set win for the Maize and Blue over the Blue Devils.

• The Wolverines have now won 17 straight home openers, with their last season-opening loss coming in the 1997 season.

• Freshman Caroline Knop set a career high in kills with 14. Knop's previous high was nine against Tennessee State on Aug. 30.

• Sophomore Abby Cole has had double figures in kills all four matches this season. Cole had a team-high 15 kills in tonight's win.

• Junior Carly Warner had her second double-double of the season. She also set a career high with 14 digs on the night.

• Junior Tiffany Morales tied a career high with four service aces. She also had four against North Florida on Aug. 24, 2012.
