• Michigan is now 82-27 all-time against the Spartans. U-M has now won 13 straight against MSU, dating back to 2010.
• U-M scored double-digit runs for the ninth time this season and the sixth time against Big Ten foes.
• The Maize and Blue tied the 2008 team for most grand slams in a single season with nine.
• The Wolverines were flawless in the field during the three-game set with MSU. The Spartans committed four errors, with all of them coming in Sunday's game (April 13).
• With its 10-run seventh inning, U-M set a new season best for runs in an inning. Previously the Wolverines had scored seven runs in an inning on four different occasions (last vs. Penn State on April 6).
• Michigan tied a season high with four home runs in one game (last at Louisville on March 15).
• Lauren Sweet tied a season and career high with two walks (four times previously, last vs. Texas on March 8).
• Sweet collected her fifth multi-hit game and fifth multi-RBI game of the season.
• Lyndsay Doyle and Sierra Romero each collected their 18th multi-hit games of the season, tying Nicole Sappingfield for most on the team.
• Doyle extended her career-best hitting streak to 11 games.
• Sierra Romero and Sierra Lawrence each tallied their 14th multi-RBI games of the season, which is the most on the team.
• Lawrence tied a pair of season and career highs with three hits and four runs batted in.
• Romero has reached base in 21 consecutive games, a team high, and Lawrence has reached base in 19 straight.
• Romero batted .625 (5-for-8) in the series and scored seven runs. She also knocked in three runs.
• Sappingfield batted .500 (6-for-12), scored six runs and knocked in two more.
• Sara Driesenga hit Michigan's third pinch-hit homer of the season and collected her second multi-RBI game of the season.
• Driesenga now has three career grand slams, putting her in a tie for seventh with five others for most in U-M history.
• Lauren Connell had her first plate appearance of the season, drawing a walk in the seventh.
• Kelly Christner tallied her third multi-hit game of the season.
• Christner and fellow freshman Lindsay Montemarano each have a four-game hitting streak going, career highs for both.
