Michigan improves to 5-2 in three-set matches this season. It also is the fourth sweep at home for the Maize and Blue in 2014.
Michigan earns its third win in the all-time series vs. Nebraska. The Wolverines last win against the Cornhuskers was a 3-2 victory in Ann Arbor during the 2012 season.
The Wolverines pick up their second win against a ranked opponent this season. U-M defeated No. 19 Duke in five sets on Sept. 5.
Michigan picks up its first winning streak since earning victories in its first two matches of 2014 against Stephen F. Austin (Aug. 29) and Tennessee State (Aug. 30).
Sophomore Abby Cole picked up her 12th double-figure kill performance of the season and 25 of her career. Cole had 19 kills on the afternoon.
Senior Lexi Dannemiller tallied her 43rd career double-double in the Nebraska win. She had 46 assists and 11 digs in three sets.
Junior Tiffany Morales was in double figures in digs for the 73rd time in her career. Morales had 17 digs on the afternoon.
Freshman Caroline Knop posted her fourth career double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs.
Freshman Adeja Lambert was in double figures in kills for the sixth time in her career. Lambert had 13 kills on the afternoon.
