• Michigan has a 16-7 record in college games played at the New York Mets' spring training complex in Port St. Lucie, Fla. Michigan first played at the Mets complex in 2004.
• Senior/junior LHP Bobby Brosnahan (2-0; 2.08 ERA) pitched six innings, allowing five hits and two runs in Saturday's first game. Brosnahan has eight career wins as a Wolverine.
• Freshman RHP James Bourque (0-0, 0.00 ERA) made his Michigan debut in Saturday's opener, working three scoreless innings and allowing one hit with four strikeouts for his first career save.
• Sophomore RF Michael O'Neill, who extended his hitting streak to four games, leads the team in hitting at .458 (11-for-24) as he was 2-for-4 in each game. O'Neill, who had two doubles in the opener, is 6-for-11 (.545) with four doubles in the Iona series.
• O'Neill has hits in 49 of his 60 games as a Wolverine, with 21 multi-hit games, 35 stolen bases and 13 doubles in his U-M career.
• Junior RHP Ben Ballantine (1-0, 1.29 ERA) pitched seven innings, allowing six hit and one run in a no-decision start in Saturday's second game. He leads the team with 14 innings pitched.
• Junior co-captain CF Patrick Biondi, who is hitting .318 (7-for-22), was 1-for-5 with three walks, two runs scored and three stolen bases in five attempts in the doubleheader. Biondi had his six-game hitting streak snapped in the second game as he was 0-for-2 with a walk and a hit-by-pitch.
• Biondi ranks fourth on U-M's career stolen base list with 62 as he chases Steve Finken (65 steals 1986-88) in third place.
• Biondi scored runs in the first five games of 2012 and has scored 112 runs in 117 games in his Wolverine career.
• Biondi walked leading off the first inning of Saturday's opener and he stole second and third and scored U-M's first run. Biondi has scored in the first inning as U-M's leadoff batter 34 times in his Wolverine career (21 times in 2010, 12 times in 2011 and once so far in 2012).
• Freshman LF Will Drake, who is hitting .391 (9-for-23), was 2-for-3 with a stolen base in Saturday's opener and he was 1-for-4 in the second game. Drake has at least one hit in each of his first six games as a Wolverine.
• Sophomore 1B Brett Winger, who is hitting .333 (6-for-18), was 2-for-4 in Saturday's opener with a two-run single that proved to be his first career game-winning hit.
